Kwitcherbellyachin!

NEW YORK (CBS) ― In what marks the end of one of the most high-profile police-involved shooting trials in New York City, a judge has acquitted three NYPD detectives of all charges in the shooting death of 23-year-old Sean Bell on Friday. Bell was gunned down in a hail of 50 bullets outside a Queens strip club on what would have been his wedding day in November 2006.

Oh no... DUH!!! We knew nothing was going to happen to these guys. I knew long before it even went to the judge instead of a jury. I'm so sick of these "injustices" that only seem to happen to black people. Before you go call Sharpton then forget about the whole thing in a week, ask yourself: how come this doesn't happen any other ethnic group of people? Did this ever happen to a Jew? It has not, not because they bring up the Holocaust or call you an antisemite whenever criticized, it's because THEY PROTECT ONE ANOTHER AND THEY KNOW HOW TO THREATEN WITH THEIR MONEY! The so-called Black Community has money, we are major consumers, but until we re-learn the lessons from the Civil Rights movement, grow some balls and dignity and start screwing with Wall Street, we will continue to be seen as expendable sub-human criminals.

I wish I thought of this.

Things you have to believe to vote Republican today:

1. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush’s daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him and a bad guy when Bush needed a “we can’t find Bin Laden” diversion.

2. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

3. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

4. A woman can’t be trusted with decisions about her own body, but
multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation, especially so if they are paying women less than men.

5. Jesus is GOD (and all that implies, like omnipotent, omnscient, and He Created Everything!
He loves *You*…and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary
Clinton.

6. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in flowery speeches while slashing veterans’ benefits and combat pay.

7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won’t have sex.

8. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

9. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

10. HMOs, oil companies, and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.

11. Global warming and tobacco’s link to cancer are junk science, but
creationism should be taught in schools.

12. A president lying about an extramarital affair is a impeachable offense.

A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is
solid defense policy.

13. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

14. The public has a right to know about Hillary’s cattle trades, but George Bush’s driving record is none of our business.

15. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you’re a
conservative radio host. Then it’s an illness, and you need our prayers for your recovery.

16. You support states’ rights, which means Attorney General John Ashcroft can tell states what local voter initiatives they have the right to adopt.

17. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the ’80s is irrelevant.

Friends don’t let friends vote Republican.

Yahoo Adult Profiles update.

THE FOLLOWING IN BLUE IS FROM HERE:

This response from Yahoo Customer Service is in reference to the “Adult Content” removal even though the photo posted was “clean”. It explains it fairly well:

“Hello,
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Member Directory.

We have checked your account and it shows that one of your Yahoo!
profiles was set to Adult Profile even though your photo was considered
‘clean’. If you received our email on 3/26/2008, it was because your
profile was marked as adult, regardless if your photo was adult in
nature or clean.

Before, if you have adult material that you’d like to use on your
Yahoo! Profile, you were asked to set up an Adult Profile. This will give you
the freedom in choosing the content you’d like to place there.

However, as of 2008/04/09, mature content is no longer permitted within
Yahoo! Profiles. As a result, all photos in profiles marked as “Adult”
will be removed. We suggest you to change the status of your adult
Yahoo! Profile to a public profile."

Revolting isn't it? Once again it's all about dumbing down and catering to the "children," even if you don't have any. I should delete all of my info email and all, but... I've had it so long and it's comfortable and to change my emails around now would take - oh forget it, I'll just uncheck the damn box...

God, I'm an ass.

On a unrelated note... when did Bronson Pinchot get hot?

On my net travels, I find some weird stuff. On the heels of my decent into madness (via the TV Guide channel), I discovered season 5 of the Surreal Life a.k.a the Omorosa and Janice Show. Getting lost in the mix was Mr. Pinchot, Balki from Perfect Strangers. Oh, how many wasted pre-teen Friday nights spent goofing on my Mom for watching the TGIF lineup. Turns out he, unlike most of the people from those shows of yesteryear, is still working. He's a bit touchy-feely too, but lately, he's looking a hell of a lot better since SF5. And I think he had his nose tweaked because I used to think he had some Indian in him with that schnozz. This is the LAST guy on earth I would even think about that way, but since he is certifiably insane, he is cute and therefore gets a mention here. Hey Bronny give me a ring, I won't mind, it's been a while - could you tell?

...and don't tell my mom.

(Mr. Art Critic huh?, does anybody know when this is coming to dvd?)
