‘You’ve Damaged Your Own Race’: Philly Mayor Blasts Teens, Flash Mobs
"You’ve damaged yourself, you’ve damaged another person, you’ve damaged your peers and, quite honestly, you’ve damaged your own race,” Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter said in a fiery address before his congregation Sunday. “You damaged your own race.”
Nutter, who is African American, targeted so-called flash mobs of black youths who’ve been caught on video attacking people in downtown Philadelphia. “If you want…anybody else to respect you and not be afraid when they see you walking down the street,” he said from the pulpit at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, “then leave the innocent people who are walking down the street minding their own damn business. Leave them alone.”
Nutter’s chastisements—which didn’t spare parents, either—included:
* “Take those God darn hoodies down, especially in the summer. Pull your pants up and buy a belt ’cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt. Nobody.”
* “If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ’cause you look like you’re crazy!”
* “The Immaculate Conception of our Lord Jesus Christ took place a long time ago, and it didn’t happen here in Philadelphia. So every one of these kids has two parents who were around and participating at the time. They need to be around now.”
* “Parents who neglect their children, who don’t know where they are, who don‘t know what they’re doing, who don‘t know who they’re hanging out with, you’re going to find yourself spending some quality time with your kids in jail.”
* To fathers: “If you’re not providing the guidance,and you’re not sending any money, you’re just a sperm donor.”
Nutter announced yesterday that the certain areas of center city Philadelphia are now off limits to minors after 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. As for the rest of the city, the curfew remains 10 p.m. if you’re under 13; midnight if you’re under 18.

Not me, but...
Face it the Feminist have done some good but they have also screwed the pooch with their own men which is why White men date and marry out as much as they do. Too many White women do not realize what quality men they share their race with and take them for granted. Fatal error.
I have always found feminist to be an over privileged and entitled set of women who seek their own fulfillment at the expense of woman of color.
Who do you think they hire to keep their houses clean and raise their kids while they are out climbing mountains. Or sitting on their behinds at lunch in the after noon with their girlfriends. That right, “The Help.”
No, so long as Black women remain fat, downtrodden and unattractive, so long as Black Women are charged with single handedly raising their kids, rescuing Adult Black men and salvaging the Black Community they are no competition for them.
Sorry Jezie gals but I love being one of those ladies who lunch and shop then come home to put my feet up secure because I have a quality man in my life who provides that with me.
Further I don’t want to be your family caregiver doing the jobs you don’t want to do while you chase your dreams. I have dreams of my own and I will live them."

our Country currently absorbs are the 2
wars we are fighting overseas. Both of
these conflicts were waged by GOP
administration with the full backing of
almost every GOP member of the House &
Senate & one has proven to be a complete
waiste of money, yet now they want to
lecture on fiscal responsibility. Give me a
break.
Also, Ron Paul is correct that Govt
spending is out of control & must be
reigned in. Our debt is out of control &
must be addressed, but if they recognize
the crisis of carrying such a large debt how
can they not see the need to raise taxes?
How in the world can we justify not asking
the richest of Americans who have seen
their incomes grow at a much greater rate
than the rest of America, to not make any
sacrifices? More remarkable are the middle
class sheep who continue to vote against
their best interest while the richest
Americans laugh all the way to the bank"

"When it comes to men I’m really looking for a guy with a big heart, with a love for life, a soft nature about himself, and educated. A guy between 23-30 would be my is my preference. I’m all about the arts, music, and photograph outlets in Chicago since I gain so much inspiration for my designs and art culture that I have, so it would be really nice to meet a guy that appreciated that aspect of myself and not get bored or tell me how weird I am for actually spending my day at the art museum and book shopping artist afterwards. In it all I know that all that matters is that you find ONE quality man for yourself that just seals the deal and having the affection of a million men does not appetite me due to the fact of me knowing what I want in the future: marriage, a fulfilling career, and a great family."
